Job Purpose
The EHS & Utility position is responsible for managing workplace safety, environmental
compliance, fire safety, and utility systems to ensure safe, compliant, and stable factory
operations. This role is especially important in a biotech manufacturing environment where clean
utilities, equipment reliability, and regulatory compliance are critical.
Key Responsibilities
1. EHS (Environment, Health & Safety)
- Implement and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and safety programs.
- Ensure compliance with Vietnamese laws related to labor safety, environment, fire protection, and health.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, accident investigations, and corrective actions.
- Manage safety training for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Control work permits, including hot work, working at height, confined space, and electrical work.
- Manage environmental compliance, including wastewater, waste, emissions, noise, and chemical handling.
- Support environmental permits, monitoring reports, and government inspections.
- Manage fire safety systems, emergency response plans, fire drills, and fire authority inspections.
2. Utility & Facility Management
- Operate and maintain utility systems, including HVAC, AHU, chiller, compressor, boiler, RO/DI water, generator, electrical system, and cleanroom utilities.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities.
- Reduce utility downtime and improve energy efficiency.
- Manage external vendors and contractors for maintenance, EHS, fire protection, and environmental services.
- Maintain EHS, utility, maintenance, training, inspection, and compliance records.
- Support ISO 14001, ISO 45001, GMP, or other audit requirements where applicable.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and vendor management for laboratory and manufacturing equipment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Biotechnology, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in EHS, utility, facility, or engineering in manufacturing.
- Good understanding of Vietnamese EHS, environmental, and fire safety regulations.
- Experience with factory utility systems and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to manage contractors and respond to emergencies.
- Good reporting and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, food, chemical, or electronics manufacturing.
- Experience with GMP, cleanroom, HVAC, purified water, or wastewater treatment systems.
- Experience with ISO 14001 or ISO 45001.
- Experience with fire safety approval, environmental permits, and government inspections.
- Experience in factory setup, expansion, or new equipment installation.
- Basic English skill

Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Saturday: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM
