Job Purpose
The Chief Accountant will be responsible for overall accounting, tax compliance, financial
reporting, internal control, and audit support for the company’s Vietnam entity. This role requires
strong knowledge of Vietnamese accounting standards, tax regulations, manufacturing cost
accounting, and FDI company operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, inventory, and cost accounting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards and company policies.
- Handle tax compliance, including VAT, CIT, PIT, FCT, and related tax filings.
- Support tax inspections, external audits, internal audits, and head office reporting.
- Review payment documents, contracts, invoices, and accounting records to ensure proper compliance.
- Manage cash flow, bank transactions, foreign currency payments, and treasury-related matters.
- Monitor accounting and tax risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Support transfer pricing documentation and statutory reporting.
- Supervise and develop accounting team members.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, banks, consultants, and government agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Valid Vietnam Chief Accountant Certificate is required.
- Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- At least 3 years in a Chief Accountant or senior accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of VAS, VAT, CIT, PIT, FCT, and Vietnamese tax regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, MISA, or similar.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, food, chemical, or high-tech manufacturing.
- Experience with FDI companies, Korean companies, or multinational companies.
- Knowledge of inventory control, manufacturing costing, import/export, and transfer pricing.
- Experience in tax inspection and audit handling.

Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Saturday: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM
